The Flamingo and LINQ Promenade

Feeling a winter chill in the air? Experience some Yuletide cheer right on the Las Vegas Strip! The Flamingo and LINQ Promenade are a festive wonderland with electrifying decorations, including pink trees, a giant snow globe at the Wildlife Habitat, and cozy firepits.

There are also seasonal cocktails you won’t want to pass up. If you’re looking for discounts this holiday season, head to some of LINQ Promenade’s stores, where they’ll have seasonal specials waiting just around every corner.

‘Tis the season to be merry, and no place celebrates Christmas quite like Las Vegas! The Bellagio Conservatory steals the show with its incredible holiday display. Marvel at giant snow globes, a towering tree adorned in festive decorations, and 1,200 roses sculpted into a 10-foot-long train. There are also playful polar bears made of thousands of carnations and penguins too!

Also, don’t miss out on seeing the Fountains put on an unforgettable performance accompanied by classic holiday songs, including “Santa Baby,” “Carol Of The Bells,” and more. This holiday display is magical enough to make even Scrooge McDuck feel a spritz of holiday spirit during his visit.

Glittering Lights

Get ready to experience a winter wonderland of lights at Glittering Lights! This 2.5-mile drive-thru light show held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been dazzling spectators for years, with millions of twinkling bulbs creating stunning scenes throughout the course. While this is always one of the top highlights during Christmas in Las Vegas, it’s also giving back — proceeds from each admission ticket go to support Speedway Children’s Charities for those less fortunate. Don’t miss out on an enchanting evening full of holiday spirit and charity.

Santa Claus has been known to make special appearances at this underwater paradise in scuba gear while carrying gifts! The exact schedule hasn’t yet been released for the 2022 season; however, last year, he jumped into shipwreck waters between December 21 and Christmas Eve — so keep your eyes peeled when you visit the aquarium during those dates. Is Las Vegas Warm During Christmas?

Las Vegas is renowned for its extreme heat during the Summer months, yet during the winter months, temperatures drop to a moderate average of 56°F during the day and 35°F overnight. While snowfall is rare and usually consists of trace amounts recorded, it has been known to pile up over 2 inches as recently as 2019. Suppose you plan to visit Las Vegas during Christmas. In that case, it is worth remembering that although Christmas offers mild weather conditions overall, packing warmer layers from home won’t hurt — just in case you’re surprised by unusually cooler days or nights.
