Henderson Fire Department Honored by American Heart Association
The Henderson Fire Department also received recognition for the Heart Attack Honor Roll.
The Henderson Fire Department announces it has been named a recipient of the American Hart Association’s Mission: Lifeline EMS Gold achievement award.
According to the public announcement, the Henderson Fire Department earned this award for its dedication to providing residents who have had the most severe types of heart attacks and strokes with prompt, evidence-based care, thus saving lives and enhancing patient outcomes.
The Henderson Fire Department also received recognition for the Heart Attack Honor Roll and is the only pre-hospital provider in Southern Nevada to receive this recognition.
“These awards are a testament to our department’s dedication to saving lives,” said Henderson Fire Chief Shawn White. “I’m extremely proud of our crews who contribute daily to our department’s national emergency medical service reputation.”
