Unstripped. | Unstripped Plus, two Vegas restaurants expand to Henderson More than 30 Las Vegas chefs are returning to the pool deck at the Palms Resort this year to make one-night-only dishes at the Unstripped culinary event. On Sunday, April 27, James Beard Award finalists, former Chopped contestants, and chefs who have become local legends in their own right will serve small plates for the fifth year of the all-you-can-eat event. This year’s chefs include James Beard Award finalist Steve Kestler of Aroma Latin American Cocina, Beard finalist and Top Chef contestant Bruce Kalman, Chopped winner Johnny Church, event co-founder and Esther’s Kitchen owner James Trees, and La Strega’s Gina Marinelli. Unstripped got its start as a celebration of off-Strip talent in response to the on-Strip Uncork’d event. In its first years, the event took over a stretch of pavement in the Arts District. But when it ballooned in popularity to a sardines-in-a-can degree, Unstripped migrated in 2024 to the Palms. This year’s event will again take place at the off-Strip resort’s pool deck with bartenders like the Golden Tiki’s Adam Rains, Jive Turkey’s Adam O’Donnell, and renowned bartender Tony Abou-Ganim taking up residence behind the bars to serve specialty cocktails. Tickets are available online for $150, and proceeds benefit the John Arena Foundation and Help of Southern Nevada Eureka! New York’s Prince St. Pizza Opens a Second Location Prince St. Pizza at the Durango casino serves up pizzas like a spicy square Sicilian and round Neapolitan with vodka sauce and fresh mozzarella. In July, the pizzeria will expand to Henderson, opening at 2390 East Serene Avenue near the 215 highway.
