The Best Pop-Ups and Parties in Las Vegas for the Formula One Grand Prix

It’s race week in Las Vegas. Whether you’re attending the race in VIP fashion, sitting in the grandstands, or just want a small taste of the action away from the track, there are myriad places aiming for your attention (and to empty your wallet). Here is our comprehensive guide to the viewing parties and pop-up experiences taking over the Las Vegas Strip

F1 Arcade Las Vegas

Aside from sitting trackside, there may not be a more fitting place to watch the Formula One race than the newly opened F1 Arcade Las Vegas. The entertainment venue will host a weekend-long celebration where guests can catch the action live on television, participate in contests to win prizes, and play racing simulators. Tickets are $59 on Thursday with three hours of unlimited game play and $69 on Friday with an hour of unlimited racing. On Saturday, prepare to drop $225 for a free hour of racing, grandstand access, bottomless beer or wine, and dishes like crab fritters, croquettes, and skewers. The arcade will also host a $125 brunch on Sunday (12:30 to 2:30 p.m.) that comes with a glass of prosecco, bottomless brunch drinks, a shareable plate, a main course, and unlimited sim racing.

Sofia pop-up at Virgin Hotels

INK Entertainment’s corporate executive chef Patrick Ochs and Sofia Miami executive chef Abel Vuelens have launched a pop-up experience of Italian hotspot Sofia at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The Sofia pop-up will serve many of the same refined Italian classics found on the menus of its outposts in Toronto and Miami. We’re talking fritto misto starring tiger shrimp, calamari, and scallops with a Meyer lemon aioli, truffled gnocchi, veal Bolognese, and whole branzino. There’s also a four-course tasting menu ($95 per person). Open nightly from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., November 19 to 22.

Topgolf Las Vegas

Topgolf will once again host a race day watch party on November 22. Options start from $135 per person for three hours of open bar and hors d’oeuvres and pay-as-you-go golf to bay rentals with unlimited game play. The $300 Grand Prix Golf package accommodates eight guests (six players) with a $100 food and beverage credit, while the $500 Full Throttle bay rental for four people covers a chef’s menu with charcuterie, shrimp skewers, and both steak and chicken sliders, and Topgolf’s rather infamous mini donuts with multiple dippings, along with a three-hour open bar.

Zuma Las Vegas

Contemporary Japanese restaurant Zuma Las Vegas, known for Japanese lounge dishes such as miso-marinated black cod and roasted lobster with shiso ponzu butter, will extend its hours over race weekend. The Cosmopolitan restaurant will add lunch service and stay open until at least 11 p.m. (possibly later), November 20 to 23, to cater to race fans.

Caramella

The terrace at Italian eatery Caramella at Planet Hollywood will provide fans with a view of the main straightaway as they enjoy all-inclusive drinks and food — Caramella’s greatest hits, which include tuna arancini, veal meatballs, cavatelli Bolognese, spicy tomato penne, and chicken parm. A live feed will play on televisions inside. Tickets are only available for the first two nights ($438 on November 20, $500 on November 21).

Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen

Gordon Ramsay will once again host a four-course trackside lunch at Hell’s Kitchen at Caesars Palace (11 a.m. on November 21). The chef will be in attendance and oversee the meal, which includes a bluefin tuna and Mishima Wagyu starter, seared diver scallop with cauliflower puree, and, of course, his signatures —  beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding. Tickets are $344 per person with a beverage add-on package available for $99.

Giada

Grab some Giada De Laurentiis–approved dishes at a watch party held inside her namesake restaurant at the Cromwell. Overlooking the main drag, guests can expect to snack on arancini, orzo meatballs, and pastas, while enjoying an open bar ($438 November 20, $563 November 21). Saturday is sold out.

Liam’s Den and Bubble Bar

At Liam’s Den and Bubble Bar inside the Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes, race fans can raise a toast with two special tasting flights. The Champagne is King flight ($55) features three French vintages —  Ayala Brut Majeur, Collery Extra Brut Grand Cru, and Taittinger Brut Réserve  — while the international whiskey flight, priced at $50, features Crown Royal, Jameson, and Hibiki.

Cote Vegas

One year after throwing an epic Formula One watch party prior to its arrival in Sin City, Cote Vegas will offer a special Race Week Feast at its new Venetian outpost. Priced at $158 per person, the experience features a selection of USDA Prime and American Wagyu beef with five premium cuts, including Japanese A5 Wagyu, served with Korean sides including pickled vegetables, spicy kimchi stew, and a savory egg soufflé. The menu will be available from November 20 to November 22.

La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway

La Cave at Wynn Las Vegas will offer a four-course prix fixe menu ($85 per person) from November 21 through November 23. The menu kicks off with the choice of hamachi and tuna crudo or a baby kale salad, followed by a four-ounce lobster tail with roasted tomato risotto and broccolini. Entree options include filet mignon, sea bass, or roasted chicken, and the meal ends on a sweet note with a trio of mini desserts  — cheesecake, lemon bar, and a triple chocolate mousse.

Cabo Wabo Cantina

With drink packages for unlimited beer, wine, and house margaritas and a prime spot overlooking turn 14 at the Miracle Mile Shops, Cabo Wabo Cantina becomes party central during race week. The second-floor loft plays host for the first two nights, November 20 and 21, with the party kicking off at 6 p.m.; admission to those events runs $200 with a menu that includes skewers, quesadillas, and a build-your-own-taco station. On Saturday, November 22, the party shifts to the Strip-side patio and includes a buffet — think cold seafood tower, salads, filet mignon, and cheese tortellini— for $300 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Buddy V’s Ristorante

Priced at $200, Buddy V’s Ristorante hosts a race night watch party that includes an open bar, cold and hot appetizers (think lobster BLT, shrimp cocktail, meatballs, and porchetta sliders), as well as a carving station with herb-crusted filet mignon. The party starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 22.

Flight Club Las Vegas

Throw darts and experience the race from turn 12. Flight Club has a viewing party beginning at 7 p.m. on November 22 that includes two hours of bottomless food (selections may include beef or buffalo chicken sliders, al pastor tacos, and flatbreads), drinks, desserts, and dart play — along with a live DJ (tickets range from $295 to $350).

SushiSamba

Venetian restaurant SushiSamba will sling a special race menu that has lobster tempura ($46), an Aburi nigiri assortment ($48), and Grand Prix Maki packed with three types of crab ($36). Larger groups can go for the Robata Anticucho Platter ($200) that features ribeye, sea bass, lobster, Kobe tsukune, octopus, and chorizo.

Shoey Bar at Bellagio

Celebrity-favorite Shoey Bar returns to the Bellagio — and no surprise as to why. This year, guests can sip from two limited-edition Sparco shoe designs inspired by the resort’s seasonal conservatory displays. Shoey Bar is open from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. from November 20 to November 22.

Michael Mina

The Guest List series continues November 20 with a collaboration between Top Chef Season 14 winner Brooke Williamson and chef Michael Mina. The special four-course meal ($195 per person) is available one night only, with reservations available online from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The meal starts with Peruvian scallops with a pickled wasabi vinaigrette and is followed by miso Chilean sea bass and Snake River Farms beef duo that includes filet mignon and 48-hour braised short ribs. For dessert, Williamson is making chocolate chip cookies and serving them with milk.

Schrader Cellars Tasting at Prime Steakhouse

Bellagio’s Prime Steakhouse will team with Schrader Cellars to host an intimate wine tasting of six Cabernet Sauvignon vintages from one of Napa Valley’s most celebrated producers. The tasting ($195 per person) takes place on November 21 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and includes a couple of complimentary canapes like a cheese and charcuterie spread, and Wagyu carpaccio. Reservations can be made online

Mixology Event: Giorgio Bargiani at Allē Lounge on 66

Mixologist Giorgio Bargiani from the Connaught Bar in London takes over Allē Lounge on 66 atop Resorts World for a three-night pop-up event. Visitors will enjoy a curated menu of signature cocktails, small plates, and live cocktail demonstrations. November 20 through November 22, 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Paella Party with José Andrés at Jaleo

Chef José Andrés will lead a live-cooking paella class at Jaleo inside the Cosmopolitan on November 22 (12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.). Following the class, guests will enjoy Spanish tapas and Ibérico sliders paired with Jaleo’s signature cocktails, sangría, and Spanish wines. Capital One cardholders can purchase tickets online for $325.

Race to Taste at Wicked Spoon

A special race menu (November 20 to 22) will come to the Cosmopolitan’s Wicked Spoon buffet. Chefs at the popular buffet will prepare dishes associated with cuisine from Formula One host cities. Look for brisket tacos, molten cheese nachos, and queso with spicy chorizo to represent Mexico, while Brazil is featured from the grill with brats, beer-can chicken, and leg of lamb marinated in chimichurri. The buffet runs for $62 per person with a two-for-one special for Nevada residents.

Trackside Menus at Formula One

If you’re watching the Las Vegas Grand Prix in person, chances are you’re going to need to make a couple of pit stops to fuel up. And with most tickets including food and drink packages, attendees have  an opportunity to sample a number of dishes from local players. Here’s what’s being served in the viewing zones all along the circuit.

Gordon Ramsay’s F1 Garage

The menu for this luxurious VIP Paddock experience, hosted by Gordon Ramsay, will include Miyazaki A5 fried rice; beef Wellington with potato puree and glazed root vegetables; brunch burger sliders topped with American cheese, brown sugar bacon, caramelized onions, hash browns, and fried egg; and, of course, sticky toffee pudding.

Papi Steak F1 Garage

The restaurant behind the $1,000 beef case returns to the Paddock with a three-day event. On the menu: Wagyu steak tartare with golden Osetra caviar, Otoro tartare cones (topped with golden Osetra caviar), seared A5 beef, and hand-carved Snake River Farms gold chateaubriand.

Paddock Club, Wynn Grid Club and Skybox
Formula One’s longtime catering partner DO & CO will provide the food at several premium hospitality spaces. Visitors will find grilled prime cuts of beef, lobster and seafood towers, homemade pasta, sushi, and several decadent desserts.

Turn 3 Club

Las Vegas-based Cut and Taste is in charge of the menu for Turn 3 Club guests. Ticket packages include all-you-can-drink beer and wine (with cocktails for purchase), as well as a menu that changes daily — a nice perk for those with three-day passes. Dishes may include smash burgers, poblano chili dogs, chicken katsu sandos, galbi steak tostadas, and short rib macaroni and cheese.

T-Mobile Zone at Sphere

In the T-Mobile Zone, Wolfgang Puck Catering is serving for-purchase dishes that include short rib grilled cheese, birria street tacos, Korean fried chicken, and footlong pizza. Chow down while taking in performances by Cassian and Zedd (Thursday, November 20), Balu Brigada, Lauv, and MGK (Friday, November 21), and Cimafunk, Sofi Tukker, and T-Pain (Saturday, November 22).

West Harmon Zone and Koval Zone

Those with grandstand tickets in the West Harmon and Koval Zone will enjoy plant-based burgers, tri-tip Baja bowls, giant Bavarian soft pretzels, pulled pork sandwiches, and Pinkbox doughnuts.

East Harmon Zone

With a menu inspired by Grand Prix destinations around the world, grandstand guests will have plenty of global options. Among them: fish and chips (United Kingdom), meze plate (Monaco), karaage chicken bento box (Japan), Dan Dan noodles (China), shawarma (U.A.E.), and fried churros (Mexico).
