A Sleek California Steakhouse Returns to the Strip After More Than a Decade

After more than 10 years, Boa Steakhouse will make its prodigal return to the Las Vegas Strip.
The sleek California-based steakhouse will open Friday, October 17, at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian Resort; previously, it ran a location in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace that closed in 2012 after seven years in operation. The restaurant first debuted as a swanky beef temple in West Hollywood in 2001 and has since expanded to four locations across California and Texas.
Las Vegas’s Boa Steakhouse menu comes from corporate executive chef Brendan Collins, who oversees its sister locations. Expect plenty of steaks, including a 40-day dry-aged New York strip, cuts from Creekstone Farms and Westholm Australian wagyu, and Japanese A5 wagyu. Longtime favorite dishes, such as caviar-filled cones and the “boujee” twice-baked potato with creme fraiche, chives, and caviar, will also make appearances. Other dishes include a Caesar salad prepared table-side, Nova Scotia lobster tail, goat cheese baklava, and lobster macaroni and cheese.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that there will be Vegas-exclusive dishes, like caviar-topped chicken nuggets, Creekstone Farms steak tartare, and panko-crusted lobster. Alongside its main dining room, the steakhouse will offer three private dining rooms and a patio.
Boa Steakhouse will be the second major steakhouse to open at a Venetian property this year. In September, Bazaar Meat made its highly anticipated move from the Sahara to a 20,000-square-foot space at Palazzo at the Venetian Resort.
Boa Steakhouse is located at 3327 S. Las Vegas Boulevard, Unit 2900, Las Vegas, NV 89109, and will be open 5 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
