Fourth of July in Vegas is one of the most anticipated holidays of the year. Las Vegas pulls out all the stops as they entertain locals and tourists in one of the best 4th of July celebrations you will ever experience.
July 4th is more than just fireworks presentations, pool parties, concerts, carnivals, parades, barbecues, and having a great time. On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress ratified the Declaration of Independence, declaring the original thirteen colonies free from British rule by creating the United States of America.
Each year we commemorate our country’s freedom with celebrations across the nation. However, there is no denying that Las Vegas 4th of July fireworks are one of the largest and best displays you will see anywhere.
Long before the fireworks on Monday, July 4th, the unofficial kickoff to the 4th of July holiday weekend begins on Friday, July 1st, with many 4th of July events in Las Vegas taking place over the weekend, leading up to the numerous fireworks displays Monday night.
To help you decide how you want to spend your Las Vegas 4th of July holiday weekend, we have assembled this list of exciting and fun things to do.
Las Vegas Pool Parties 4th of July Weekend 2022
One of the best things to do on a long holiday weekend is to attend one of the Vegas pool parties. These pool parties feature music, entertainment, food, and drinks. You can chill all day long in the pool, make some new friends, and plan your evenings.
However, Vegas pool parties are extremely popular and will sell out quickly. So, you will want to make sure you can avoid long lines and enjoy as much time in the pool as possible using these tips:
- Purchase your pool party passes in advance. You can pre-purchase pool party passes from many of the resorts ahead of time. This will help you skip waiting in line and jump to the line for those guests who have already purchased their passes.
- Arrive early before the pool party opens. The lines at Vegas pool parties can quickly back up, causing up to two-hour delays or longer just to gain access to the event. So, it is better to arrive early, get a great spot in line and spend that hour or two at the front so you will be one of the first to get in.
- Reserve a cabana or VIP pool party experience. Guests that upgrade to a cabana rental or VIP experience often get priority access to the event. Plus, you will have your own private space to enjoy at the pool party.
Most Las Vegas day club pool party events over the 4th of July weekend will feature some of the area’s top DJs, entertainers, and famous celebrity performers. The events start at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. and run until 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. However, the pool may open much earlier, as early as 7 a.m.
