Since opening in 2009, chef Dalton Wilson has blended flavors from his Jamaican and New Mexican heritage to create dishes of jerk chicken and waffles and red chile pork bowls. On Sunday, the restaurant is going out with a bang with an all-day brunch event finale. DW Bistro will host a party from noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday with live music and food tents in the courtyard of the Gramercy shopping area. The ticketed event comes with food from DW Bistro, Main Street Provisions, Monzú Italian Oven & Bar, among other local restaurants. Samplings of wine and beer are included and cocktails will be available for purchase. Tickets are for sale online for $150. Executive chef Robbie Felice and Montclair Hospitality Group created PastaRamen as an omakase-style dinner that combines flavors and techniques from two culinary traditions of noodles. Hosted at Resorts World, chef Nicole Brisson of Brezza will join to present PastaRamen when it opens on May 15. PastaRamen got its start as a pop-up in New York City, Miami, Seattle, and Los Angeles during the COVID-19 pandemic. The menu combines Japanese and Italian flavors with dishes like polpette Parmigiano bao with pomodoro sauce, octopus yakitori in garlic crema, and tonkotsu porchetta ramen. The pop-up will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. through June 14 Seating is limited to 100 guests per night, and reservations can be made online. Longhorn Steakhouse will arrive in Henderson this July. Longhorn will open at 699 North Stephanie Street at the site of a former Applebee’s.
