The hype propelled the newly dubbed Salt Bae to open restaurants in several U.S. and international cities — including Las Vegas. His Strip steakhouse, Nusr-Et, located at the Park near Park MGM, drew a fair deal of attention when it opened, serving edible golden-covered steaks for over $1,000 each. The company announced that Nusr-Et is shaking up its operations and launching in new markets. It closed its Las Vegas location on January 28. 4 Las Vegas TGI Fridays The casual chain restaurant known for its potato skin appetizer and family birthday visits filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in November 2024. TGI Fridays closed more than 130 locations nationwide since the end of 2023, leaving pieces of button flair unworn and endless mozzarella sticks uneaten. TGI Fridays closed its four Las Vegas restaurants inside Boyd Gaming casinos — at Orleans, Sam’s Town, Aliante, and Gold Coast casinos on Friday, January 31.
