Las Vegas Unemployment Rate 6% in February 2023
Up from 5.3% in February 2022.

According to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation’s (DETR) February 2023 report, the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 5.5% in February 2023 which was unchanged from January 2023. The unadjusted unemployment rate increased slightly, going from 5.6 percent to 5.7 percent for an increase of 0.1 percentage points.
The unemployment rates were 6 percent in the Las Vegas area, increasing from 5.9% in January 2023, and up from 5.3% in February 2022.
The unemployment rates were 4.5 percent in Reno and 5.2 percent in the Carson area in February 2023.
