Lisa Vanderpump’s Gigolo Aims to Please
Would you trust Lisa Vanderpump to keep your secret? The question arises at Gigolo, a lobby bar at her new namesake hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. The Hush Hush — a cocktail that combines jalapeño vodka, triple sec, strawberry puree, and hot honey as its main ingredients — requires the person ordering it to write down a risky secret, seal it in an envelope and drop it into the Vanderpump Vault, a slot below the five-foot-tall resin statue of her waistcoat- and bow tie-wearing Pomeranian Giggy, whom the bar is named after.
“We’ve seen that people love an interactive cocktail — especially when they can leave their mark in our locations,” Vanderpump says, nodding to her Lovelocked cocktail at Vanderpump à Paris where guests ink their initials on a lock and attach it to the bar’s Wall of Love. “We loved the idea of a secret being sort of scandalous. I guess we will see what happens to them when the box gets full.”
The pitch meeting with Caesars Entertainment executives for Gigolo was a bit of hoot, Vanderpump says. (“They said, ‘You want to call the bar after a male escort?’ and I said, ‘No, I want to name it after a dog.’”) And so Gigolo was born: The bar made its debut on June 11, 2026, with the unveiling of the Vanderpump Hotel (a rebranding of the Cromwell). The lounge in the former Bound Bar seats about 50 people. It’s a collaboration between Vanderpump, her longtime design guru Nick Alain, and daughter Pandora Vanderpump Sabo, who serves many roles in the company, including mixologist.

The main bar area looks lushly monochromatic with deep burgundy reds and black giving it a mysterious and moody feel. Solo guests or couples looking to interact with bartenders can sit at the small circular bar under deep red petal–shaped chandelier shades that resemble an inverted rose. Black velvet banquettes and small tables near long draping curtains offer more intimacy. To its benefit, the room feels versatile for both a pre-dinner drink or post-dinner nightcap.
“We really wanted to bring to life the name of the space — everything on the menu needed to have a touch of sexy, a playful nod, a bit of innuendo — and, of course, it needed to be gorgeous,” Sabo says. “I love creating things that are unique and unusual — if people see something come to their table and say, ‘Wow,’ I’ve done my job.”
For instance, the Talk Dirty to Me arrives as a martini for two served on a silver tray with exactly 15 Castelvetrano olives on a single skewered that rests atop the stemware. “It’s a martini for two people that can either be romantic, sexy or just plain fun,” Sabo says. For something more opulent, try the vodka-based Pump and Bump martini. It arrives with a small mother of pearl spoon holding a pile of caviar.
Other Gigolo drinks include a twist on the classic Old Fashioned and a “not be messed with too much” espresso martini. First, the Slow Burn offers a sweet, yet tart, blackberry-flavored Old Fashioned, smoked with hickory and rosemary for richness, its color mimicking the dark tones of the bar. “I just love it,” Sabo says. “It’s just like the heady, evocative slow burn of a new romance.” As for the espresso martini, called Kiss sand Tell, the team did not mess with the recipe much. It’s simply great espresso, coffee liqueur, vodka and a touch of chocolate bitters. For show, it comes with a tiny chocolate Kiss.
Gigolo’s food menu is limited but effective. You can start with the Naughty but Nice ($18) platter that has almonds, olives, rosemary cashews, wasabi peas, dill pickle corn nuts, and homemade ranch–dusted potato chips. Or you can get the full Vanderpump experience and order high-quality caviar with creme fraiche ($160).
For Vanderpump, Gigolo has a personal meaning tied to the dog she loved and the one she started her Vanderpump Dog Foundation in honor of. The well-coiffed, stylish Pomeranian stayed by her side both on screen and off until his death in 2020. “When I got my Giggy, I looked up the definition of ‘Gigolo,’ and it’s a man there to please an older woman – and that was my relationship with Giggy,” Vanderpump says. “Just like its name, the bar is playful, and everything about it has a wink and a touch of sexiness.”
Launched in 2016, her foundation has been instrumental in writing and passing animal cruelty laws and has saved more than 3,000 dogs in California. “To commemorate my beloved Gigolo, creating a bar in his honor has always been a dream of mine,” Vanderpump says. “I’m so glad it happened.”
