New Mixed-Use Development Break Ground in the Arts District in Downtown Las Vegas
Southern Land Company (SLC) broke ground on a mixed-use development located at 1207 S. 3rd Street in the18b Arts District in Downtown Las Vegas. The project will include three seven-story apartment buildings totaling 531,982 square feet, offering a combined 337 rental residences and 8,500 square feet of ground-level retail and restaurant space.
City of North Las Vegas and Southern Nevada Water Authority Break Ground on Water System in Apex
The City of North Las Vegas and the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) broke ground on the Garnet Valley/Apex Water and Wastewater System to provide additional water and sewer infrastructure to meet the future development demand in Apex Industrial Park. According to John Entsminger, SNWA general manager, all indoor water use within Apex is reclaimed and recycled back to Lake Mead.
Atomic Golf Las Vegas Sets to Open On March 22
Atomic Golf Las Vegas, an immersive golf experience, will open its doors on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 10 a.m. The facility has four floors with 103 separate golfing bays and features a 212-yard range; six full-service bars; a putting area, eight digital putting bays, a Tap Room with Bottom’s Up technology and a collection of locally brewed beers; meeting and special event space; luxury suites; and more.
Las Vegas Mayor’s Urban Design Award Winners Announced
The city of Las Vegas is honoring exceptional urban design through the Mayor’s Urban Design Awards (MUDA). Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman presented the awards to open the 2024 Mayor’s Symposium on Urban Design Tuesday, March 5, at the Historic Fifth Street School, 401 S. Fourth St.
