Good Pie Opens a New Pizza Joint Pizzaiolo Vincent Rotolo is expanding his pizza footprint, opening a second location of his downtown Las Vegas phenomenon, Good Pie. The popular pizzeria expanded from its original home in Pawn Plaza to the Arts District in 2020, where it quickly earned a following for its wide variety of pizzas: A square grandma-style cheese pizza comes loaded with fresh mozzarella. It will be open most days from 7:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a brunch selection of eggs Benedict with Alaskan king crab, Japanese-style pancakes with vanilla mascarpone and coffee-infused maple syrup, and sugary monkey bread. A full bar will pour cocktails and coffee drinks — both with and without booze. The location will be a step up from the intimate space of the downtown Parlour, with room for canopied outdoor seating and private outdoor cabanas, indoor counter seating, and a grab-and-go area. Gäbi Boutique Reopens With Savory Doughnuts Gäbi Boutique, which closed both its Henderson locations in July to renovate, has reopened with a new menu. A spin-off of the Chinatown coffee shop, Gäbi Coffee & Bakery, the Boutique’s new specialty is a selection of twisted doughnuts, all whimsically decorated and available in both sweet and savory varieties. Strawberry cream doughnuts are lined with slices of fruit and Nutella twists feature chocolate squares set in its icing. Savory doughnuts are more surprising — one twist is iced with basil cream and topped with mozzarella and cherry tomato halves, one has piped mashed potato and bacon crumbles, and another serves as the base for slivers of smoked salmon.
