Netflix is diving back into the restaurant business with a one-year version of Netflix Bites — this time in Las Vegas. The residency is scheduled to run for one year at the MGM Grand. There is no further information about what prospective diners can expect or what the food will cost — only that the “one-of-a-kind restaurant experience offering guests a savory journey” will be inspired by Netflix titles, according to a press release. Last year, Park MGM launched Chef Truck, inspired by the food truck in the movie Chef and subsequent Chef Show for Netflix, with Jon Favreau and Roy Choi. The coffee shop and drive-thru is open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Googie California Diner Is Open The quintessential California diner, Norms, opens today in central Las Vegas. Taking over the space of a former Applebee’s at 4605 West Charleston Boulevard near Decatur Boulevard, the diner — swathed in orange and marked by a bright pennant sign — starts serving 24-hour pancakes, omelets, burgers, and bloody Marys on Wednesday, October 30.
