A Live Music Speakeasy Is Opening Behind a Sleek New Caviar Bar
Caspian’s Chips & Dip. | Jose Salinas Caspian’s Cocktails & Caviar opens just in time for New Years Eve A sleek and vibey caviar bar with a hidden live music venue is primed to open on the Las Vegas Strip this December. Replacing a previously beloved bar and performance space, Caspian’s Cocktails & Caviar will serve Pringles with French onion caviar dip at the caviar bar and rock and roll shows in the technicolor lounge hidden beyond. Caspian’s at Caesars Palace replaces what had been the Cleopatra’s Barge lounge and music venue. The space is getting a stylish update with the studio behind Casa Calavera at Virgin Hotel and Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails at the Cosmopolitan creating two distinct spaces. The bar will be all black and white with accents of onyx and pearl and the bar stocked with top-shelf vodka and Golden Osetra. It sets the scene for ordering potato latkes, waffles, and Pringles chips with caviar toppings and sides. Cocktails take the form of the Ruby Riff with vanilla vodka and passionfruit syrup and the briny Dirty Ass Martini. A hidden entrance off the caviar bar will lead into a technicolor Art Deco-style lounge with golden accents, oversized couches, and a sparkling chandelier. Bands will perform nightly while Thursdays will go open mic with visitors invited to hop on stage. The 1,100-square-foot cocktail lounge will seat 50 guests, while the 2,300-square-foot live music speakeasy will accommodate nearly 100. When it debuts in December, the cocktail lounge at Caspian’s will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily, with the kitchen closing at 10 p.m. The live music speakeasy will be open from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. from Tuesday to Saturday.
